Officers from the Police Commissariat in Kruszyn detained a resident of Bolesławiec County suspected of stealing a company laptop worth PLN 2,000 from the office of a workers’ hotel in the Gromadka municipality.
The Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters explains: – The man has been renting a room in the building where the crime occurred for some time. The stolen laptop was found behind a wardrobe in the room temporarily used by the suspect, confirming his involvement in the crime.
What is more, the 33-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County damaged property by hitting the door and wall in the rented room, causing losses of more than PLN 1,000.
The officers: – The detainee claims that he does not remember what he did because he was under the influence of alcohol. He now faces up to five years in prison.
