Both detentions took place on January 4. KPP:
During a night patrol of the city, officers from Bolesławiec stopped a passenger vehicle for inspection. It was being driven by a 29-year-old man. After checking the driver in the police database, the officers determined that by getting behind the wheel, the man had committed a crime, as in 2022 the court had imposed a driving ban on him twice.
That was not the end of it. In the morning, traffic police inspected a minibus whose driver was a 55-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County who had... three court-imposed driving bans.
Both extremely irresponsible drivers now face a sentence of between three months and as many as five years in prison.
