Over the course of two days, police officers checked 205 people. A 17-year-old girl whose disappearance had been reported again was found. In addition, officers arrested a man wanted by the prosecutor’s office who had been harassing his former partner.
Seven collisions were recorded on the roads of Bolesławiec County, including one caused by a cyclist. No one suffered serious injuries.
Several hours before the end of 2022, three men who had stolen fireworks were taken into police custody.
On New Year’s Day, officers arrested an intoxicated driver who drove away after hitting a fence. After some time, the perpetrator returned to the property from which he had earlier driven away. He was arrested. It turned out that the 30-year-old was drunk; he had more than 1.5 per mille of alcohol in his system. He now faces up to two years in prison.
