The incident occurred on December 31. – At around 1:30 a.m., Jelenia Góra police officers went to Leśna Street in Jeżów Sudecki, where, according to the report, a road incident had occurred – reports asp. Aleksandra Pieprzycka from the Press Section of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław.

The officers established that the 43-year-old BMW driver—most likely as a result of failing to adjust his speed to the road conditions—lost control of the car and ended up in a ditch.

The police noticed a distinct smell of alcohol coming from the BMW driver. Moreover, the man was aggressive and vulgar. It turned out that he was completely drunk; a test showed more than 2 per mille of alcohol in his system.

Spokeswoman: – The officers are currently clarifying all the circumstances of this case in detail. The man will now answer in court for the crime he committed, and he may face up to 2 years in prison, a heavy fine, and a driving ban lasting several years.
