The incident occurred on Saturday, November 26, on the A18. At around 7:00 p.m., the driver of an Opel, a 30-year-old resident of Podkarpackie Voivodeship, rear-ended a Toyota. The force of the impact was so great that the second vehicle then collided with a Volkswagen.
Fortunately, no one was seriously injured. However, it emerged that the Opel driver was drunk; he had 1.6 per mille of alcohol in his system.
The irresponsible driver now faces up to two years in prison.
