– The arrested 60-year-old woman is a resident of Zgorzelec County. Police findings show that the woman had been staying in Złotoryja for some time – says junior warrant officer Dominika Kwakszys, press officer for the Złotoryja County Police Headquarters. – During this time, over a period of several days, she stole property three times from two different stores belonging to a drugstore chain. The woman mainly stole cosmetics, including lipsticks, lip glosses, foundations and perfumes. The stolen property also included an erotic gadget.
The spokesperson adds:
Twice, she left the store unnoticed, hoping to avoid responsibility. The third time, she was apprehended by a store employee and then arrested by Złotoryja police officers.
The woman stole property worth more than PLN 5,000 in total. Most of the stolen cosmetics were recovered.
The suspect now faces between three months and as many as five years in prison.
