From the new year, ownership changes will take place at Bolesławiec Water Park “Orka” Sp. z o.o. Bolesławiec Water Park “Orka”, together with its employees, will become part of the structure of and be managed by the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre in Bolesławiec. The aim of the change is to rationalise the management of water facilities.
Currently, the MOSiR structure includes the following water and recreational facilities: the saltwater thermal baths on Zgorzelecka Street, “Leśny Potok” on Jeleniogórska Street, and the Water Sports Centre on Spacerowa Street.
Previously, the water park was subordinate to ZEC Bolesławiec. In mid-August 2022, Robert Tomczyk was dismissed from the position of president of Bolesławiec “Orka” . Maciej Gancarz, a member of the company’s Supervisory Board, was temporarily delegated to perform this function.
