Thus, the project “Development of the Water and Sports Centre site at 24 Spacerowa Street – stage II” is entering its next phase.
The investment is worth nearly PLN 46 million. The work will create an extensive sports and recreation complex.
The Water and Sports Centre on Spacerowa Street will gain:
- two full-size football pitches with artificial turf, one of which will meet third-league requirements,
- beach volleyball courts,
- a padel court (padel is a racket sport combining tennis and squash),
- a multipurpose pitch with stands,
- an event shelter intended for sports and cultural events,
- a slide complex,
- a new playground,
- car parks, roads and paths,
- a space for food trucks and motorhomes.
The existing Water and Sports Centre facilities will also be modernised. The work will include, among other things, the amphitheatre, barbecue shelter, courts, and technical and garage buildings.
One element of the investment is the slide complex, where work is already underway. It is to be ready by 30 April 2027. Once the work is complete, residents will be able to enjoy another attraction at the Water and Sports Centre.
The entire investment is scheduled for completion in January 2028.
