From October 28 to November 2, Bolesławiec officers carried out nearly 300 interventions and checked 770 people and vehicles. They detained six drivers under the influence of alcohol and one under the influence of drugs, as well as three drivers subject to court-imposed driving bans and two whose driving privileges had been revoked.

While patrolling the city, traffic police officers noticed a vehicle that belonged to a driver subject to a court-imposed driving ban. During the inspection, it turned out that the car had changed owners, but the new owner also should not have been behind the wheel. A sobriety test showed that the 63-year-old had nearly 2 per mille of alcohol in his system.

On November 1, near the cemetery, two drivers towing each other were caught. The driver of the first car was under the influence of alcohol, while the person being towed was wanted to serve a prison sentence.
