Bolesławiec police officers identified the perpetrator of the theft of property from a building undergoing renovation as a result of operational activities. Officers: – The thief took advantage of the situation and took one of the construction workers’ bags, which contained small tools and a wallet with documents and a card.
They add:
The 39-year-old used someone else’s payment card and paid for his purchases at a store with it. Three subsequent attempts to use the card were unsuccessful because its owner had managed to block it.
This is not the only offence on the record of the 39-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County. Police proved that he had stolen a phone, speakers and a charger from an apartment. Here too, the thief’s task was made easier because the apartment door had not been locked.
The detainee now faces up to 10 years in prison.
