On the evening of November 1, near the Bolesławiec cemetery, a convoy of vehicles towing one another caught the attention of police officers participating in Operation “Znicz”; among other things, the vehicles were not properly marked.

The towing vehicle was stopped. A 36-year-old man was behind the wheel. He had consumed alcohol, did not have a driving licence, and the vehicle did not have a valid technical inspection.

The vehicle being towed was driven by a 26-year-old man who turned out to be wanted and to have had his driving privileges revoked. The man was arrested to be taken to prison, where he will spend the next year serving a sentence of imprisonment for thefts he had committed.
Both men are residents of Bolesławiec County. The towing driver will be held responsible for driving without a licence and after consuming alcohol, while the man being towed will be held responsible for driving despite a decision revoking his driving privileges.
