On Friday, June 11, an open day was held at the barracks of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Brigade. Children from schools and preschools in Bolesławiec had the opportunity to see self-propelled howitzers, multiple rocket launchers, communications and reconnaissance equipment, and small arms up close. The youngest visitors could also learn about the history and traditions of the Brigade and watch a film about training in field conditions and participation in missions.

The artillery equipment aroused the greatest curiosity among the children. Each of them wanted to look through binoculars and try on a helmet. The instructors answered all their questions in detail and were happy to talk about their service.
