Bolesławiec criminal investigators identified, through operational activities, a person using a nickname on one of the sales portals. The man was offering goods bearing counterfeit trademarks of global companies.

Uniformed officers:

The 33-year-old resident of Bolesławiec was offering sunglasses and watches bearing logos belonging to various well-known brands.

After searching the suspect’s home and garage, police secured 40 pairs of sunglasses and 26 watches. What is more, they found methamphetamine in one of the rooms.

The offender was charged with selling items marked with a counterfeit trademark, an offense punishable by up to two years in prison, and possessing narcotic drugs, an offense punishable by up to three years in prison.
