The incident took place on October 14, at around 11:45 a.m. – During a patrol in one of the localities in the Janowice Wielkie municipality, police officers noticed a man driving a tractor with a trailer who, on seeing them, suddenly braked and stopped – reports Assistant Inspector Edyta Bagrowska, press officer of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Jelenia Góra.
The officers decided to find out what had caused the man's eccentric behavior. It turned out that a 35-year-old resident of Karkonosze County was sitting behind the tractor's wheel, and the officers detected a strong smell of alcohol coming from him. The test showed… 2.6 per mille.
That was not all. It emerged that the 35-year-old did not have a driving licence, and the trailer in question had neither registration plates nor insurance.
The irresponsible man was arrested. He faces up to two years in prison.
