Update
The person responsible for the collision was a 41-year-old woman from Silesia who was driving an Opel. The woman suffered only minor injuries and was fined PLN 1,500.
(The driver was taken to hospital for examinations).
The incident occurred on 18 October. Volunteer firefighters from Różyniec:
5:55 a.m. – dispatch to a road accident on the A4, at kilometre 55. Upon arrival at the scene, it turned out that a passenger car had struck the rear of a heavy goods vehicle (truck).
One person was injured. Uniformed officers from the Rescue and Firefighting Unit in Bolesławiec, as well as from OSP Krzyżowa and OSP Różyniec, took part in the operation, along with a representative of the road administrator, an emergency medical team and the police. The latter is investigating the circumstances and causes of the incident.
The officers appeal for good sense and caution on the road.
