– On Friday afternoon, Bolesławiec police received a report of a robbery in the Osiecznica municipality. After entering the pharmacy, the perpetrator demanded money and attacked the pharmacist – reports asp. szt. Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec. – By grabbing and pushing the woman, he gained access to the cash from the day’s takings. He then took two invoicing and scanning devices and, as he left the building, stole a bicycle.

Officers from the Police Station in Nowogrodziec immediately went to the scene. Based on the information collected and the perpetrator’s description, they identified a person suspected of committing the robbery. They then located and arrested the 30-year-old suspect.

Spokeswoman: – The man was found in possession of more than PLN 2,500 stolen from the pharmacy, invoicing and scanning devices worth PLN 4,000, and a bicycle valued at PLN 1,000. Criminal investigators from Bolesławiec also worked at the scene.

At the request of the police officers and prosecutor, the court placed the suspect in temporary custody for three months. Since the suspect is a repeat offender, he faces up to 18 years in prison.
