The incident occurred on 28 September. A young man with a large carbine walked around Bolesławiec city centre between 7:30 and 9:40. Together with his friends, he was hanging around the blocks of flats on Bielska Street near the water park and by the post office on Asnyka Street.
“It was a replica of a large weapon, held in both hands. People walked away when they saw these boys,” a witness to the incident told us.
The police located and identified the boy. “The man was checked. He had a malfunctioning plastic-pellet carbine with him,” reports asp. szt. Anna Kublik-Rościszewska of the Bolesławiec police.
