Mrs. Janina Wiśniewska was born on 27 September 1922 in the town of Oronne (Garwolin County), and has lived in Bolesławiec since 1946. She celebrated this wonderful anniversary surrounded by her loving family and friends on 27 September this year. Mrs. Janina has four children. She has five great-great-grandchildren.
The ceremony was attended, among others, by representatives of the municipal authorities – Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman, Deputy Mayor Renata Szewczyk and Mariola Soja, head of the Civil Registry Office department.
Piotr Roman – on his own behalf and that of the entire Bolesławiec community – extended his heartfelt congratulations on the wonderful anniversary, wishing Mrs. Janina many more years of life in good health, continuing to enjoy such excellent condition, and family happiness.
The distinguished celebrant received a congratulatory letter, flowers and a blanket. During the ceremony, a resounding “200 years” was sung; there was also a toast. Bolesławiec Municipality: – The meeting held to mark the 100th anniversary of her birth was also an excellent opportunity for memories and emotion and – thanks to Mrs. Janina’s excellent memory – for directly passing on fascinating stories from the life of the family and the city to the younger generations.
