The incident occurred on September 24, in the afternoon, in Świętoszów. The driver of a Volkswagen van crashed head-on into an Audi. Both drivers were injured and taken to hospital.
As it turned out, the 45-year-old VW driver was drunk; he had nearly one per mille of alcohol in his system.
Both people involved in the accident are residents of Bolesławiec County.
