Police officers from Bolesławiec, acting on the basis of collected information and surveillance footage, identified people suspected of shoplifting. The male-female duo robbed a drugstore twice. KPP Bolesławiec: – Acting together, they took perfumes worth more than PLN 1,000 from the store.

The offenders are residents of Bolesławiec County (aged 32 and 29). They were arrested and charged. They now face up to five years in prison.

The suspects told officers that they had sold their loot. Bolesławiec police headquarters:

We remind you that, under the Polish Criminal Code, receiving stolen goods is also a crime: “anyone who acquires an item obtained through a prohibited act, or helps to dispose of it, or receives the item or helps to conceal it, is subject to imprisonment from 3 months to 5 years.”
