The Lower Silesian Voivodeship submitted three applications in May last year. In December 2021, the Prime Minister approved the list of investments selected for funding.

The government funding will be allocated, among other things, to the second stage of construction of the Bolesławiec bypass. UMWD: – The second stage of this investment is worth PLN 64.6 million, and the funding awarded amounts to 60% of the value, or PLN 38.7 million.

The project includes the construction of the approximately 5.9-kilometre north-eastern Bolesławiec bypass, with a pedestrian and cycle path. The investment will allow through traffic to be diverted outside the built-up area, reducing noise and improving residents' safety.

Design work is currently underway – the optimal route option for the planned bypass section has been selected, and an application for an environmental decision has been submitted.
