We have already reported several times on the problems in this area on Istotne.pl. After the new bridge opened on August 26 and traffic was moved onto it, temporary traffic organization was introduced. Despite the prohibition, some drivers continue to make maneuvers that are inconsistent with the signage. As a result, there have been, among other things, disruptions and traffic jams on Zgorzelecka Street.

The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways addressed the situation, appealing to drivers to exercise common sense and comply with the regulations in force:

We understand that the temporary change in traffic organization may be inconvenient. However, the detour is not long. Therefore, we appeal to drivers to use common sense and, above all, to follow the regulations. It is not worth risking your own safety or that of others.

The temporary traffic organization is related to the ongoing work in the area of the crossing over the Bóbr River. The old bridge has been closed to traffic and is currently being dismantled. Ultimately, two parallel bridges and new traffic solutions, including roundabouts on both sides of the crossing, will be built here.

Until the work is completed, drivers must use the designated detours. GDDKiA reminds drivers that even if the new signage causes difficulties or lengthens the journey, this is no reason to ignore signs or perform prohibited maneuvers.
