The duty officer at the Bolesławiec police unit received information that a missing 70-year-old resident of Częstochowa might be in our county. KPP:
According to the family’s report, the man had not reached the hospital in Kraków, where he was supposed to continue oncological treatment. All patrols received information about the missing man.
While checking the A4 motorway, Bolesławiec traffic officers noticed a man sitting behind the crash barrier. Officers: – Attempting to establish verbal contact was difficult because of the distance and noise. Seeing that the man did not have the strength to stand and might require medical assistance, the police used a motorway maintenance access to reach the person in need as quickly as possible.
It turned out to be the missing 70-year-old from Częstochowa. His car was nearby, on the emergency lane.
Police: – The wanted man was disoriented, chilled and exhausted. He was unable to explain why he had ended up in Lower Silesia. The officers called an ambulance, which took the man to hospital.
