Paratroopers were dropped over Bolesławiec. As we managed to establish, they were commandos from Lubliniec carrying out practice jumps. Tomorrow, they will jump as part of celebrations marking the 55th anniversary of the establishment of the 62nd Special Company and the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Special Forces.
The aforementioned event will take place on Saturday, 3 September at the MOSiR Water Sports Centre in Bolesławiec (Spacerowa Street). It will begin at 11:00. (The event is scheduled to end at 16:00).
Among those making a jump on Saturday will be Major General Sławomir Drumowicz, commander of the Special Forces Component since 2018, who began his military career in the Bolesławiec special company.
