On 24 August, officers from the Bolesławiec traffic police, together with inspectors from the Jelenia Góra branch of the Road Transport Inspection, conducted operations in the area of the roads of the Nowogrodziec municipality.

A mobile vehicle inspection station was used during the operations. The station’s modern equipment enabled officers to inspect a large number of vehicles, including their brakes, suspension, lights, emissions and the weight of the vehicles together with their loads.

Police officers, together with Road Transport Inspection officers, inspected 32 vehicles. Twelve drivers were fined, five registration certificates were seized, and Road Transport Inspection officers initiated three administrative proceedings in connection with exceeding the vehicle’s permitted weight, the lack of a tachograph and the drivers’ lack of up-to-date medical examinations.
Officers announce that checks of this kind will continue.
