As reported by the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters, from Friday to Sunday, 5 people were arrested in Bolesławiec County in connection with drug-related offenses:

  • On Friday evening, community police officers arrested a 27-year-old who had already had conflicts with the law (theft and threats). The man had several portions of marijuana on him.
  • On Saturday morning, an intervention patrol checked two people who were staying under a public shelter. The man tried to hide a bag of drugs from the police officers, but when he opened his mouth, everything came to light. The 28-year-old resident of Lwówek County will answer for possession of marijuana and methamphetamine. His companion, a 22-year-old woman from Bolesławiec, also had marijuana, which the officers found in the inner pocket of her handbag.
  • During the night of July 23–24, community police officers in the city center arrested a 26-year-old man from Legnica County who had drugs.
  • On Sunday, at 7:00 a.m., another person was arrested; a 43-year-old man from Bolesławiec possessed methamphetamine.

A reminder: possession of narcotic substances is punishable by up to 3 years in prison.
