Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters: – Police officers recorded a total of 38 traffic violations, all involving exceeding the permitted speed limit.

A 23-year-old resident of Nowogrodziec municipality lost his driving licence for three months during Friday’s speed checks. The driver was travelling at 108 km/h in a built-up area. The man was given 10 penalty points and fined PLN 1,500.

During the operation, officers detained a 43-year-old resident of Nowa Sól County who committed an offence by getting behind the wheel. A decision had revoked the man’s driving entitlements.
The resident of the neighbouring voivodeship now faces up to two years in prison.
