Bolesławiec criminal investigators identified the perpetrator of the theft of goods. The crime took place during a delivery to a store. – A 34-year-old resident of Bolesławiec took advantage of the unloading moment and stole a crate containing electronics and household appliances – explains Staff Sergeant Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec. – The perpetrator, working with a colleague, sold part of his loot.
After arresting the 34-year-old, the officers determined where he had hidden several items obtained through the crime. The spokeswoman said: – In a forest complex, police officers secured the crate. Then, during a search of the perpetrator’s place of residence, further items were found.
The most valuable part of the loot was secured at a pawnshop. Property worth more than PLN 11,000 was recovered.
Both the thief and the fence now face up to five years in prison.
