The incident took place on Saturday, 9 July, on the road between Osła and Gromadka. Before 10:00 p.m., the driver of a Volkswagen, a 26-year-old Ukrainian citizen, lost control of the vehicle and hit a tree.
It turned out that the driver was drunk; he had more than one per mille of alcohol in his system. The foreign national had his driving licence confiscated.
Let us recall that driving a car while intoxicated is punishable by up to two years in prison.
