On Sunday morning, more than 130 soldiers from the first training cycle of the Voluntary Basic Military Service took the oath. They came from the 10th Armoured Cavalry Brigade in Świętoszów and the 23rd Artillery Regiment in Bolesławiec. The recruits’ families and residents of Bolesławiec gathered in the town’s market square. Among those attending the ceremony were the commanders of both units, representatives of the city and county authorities, the police and the fire service.

In addition to the official oath-taking ceremony, military equipment used by the units was presented during the event: the WR-40 Langusta, AHS DANA, KMO M120 RAK, SPZR POPRAD and WD WOLF.
