Bolesławiec criminal investigators identified and arrested three people suspected of breaking into and stealing a passenger car from private property. The crime took place at night, on June 14, in one of the localities in Osiecznica commune.
Officers: – The perpetrators were so determined that when they realized the car they had come for had no power source, they went back for their own battery, installed it and drove away.
All those arrested in the case are residents of Nowogrodziec commune, aged between 18 and 24.
The police established where the detainees had hidden their loot. (The stolen vehicle was secured in a forest complex.)
The entire trio of burglars now faces up to 10 years in prison. One of them—the 23-year-old driver—will also be held accountable for violating a court ban and driving despite having his driving privileges revoked.
