Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław:

Police officers are exposed to various kinds of danger during every duty shift. (We were given a particularly vivid reminder of this recently in Bolesławiec – ed. istotne.pl). Unfortunately, apprehending aggressive perpetrators of crimes and offenses repeatedly ends with police officers sustaining injuries, sometimes in rather unexpected ways.

An unusual incident occurred in Kamienna Góra. – When the officers were finishing handling a road incident, they noticed a group of people involved in a scuffle in a nearby park. The officers immediately ran in that direction to separate the people fighting – reports junior warrant officer Przemysław Ratajczyk from the press team of the Wrocław Provincial Police Headquarters. – During the intervention, one of the aggressive men bit an officer’s hand. The other people involved in the altercation scattered in different directions.

The officers arrested the aggressor. Junior warrant officer P. Ratajczyk: – The 25-year-old was becoming increasingly aggressive, did not respond to commands and began insulting the police officers with abusive language. The officers were forced to use physical force and handcuffs to restrain him.

When the agitated 25-year-old was placed in the compartment for detainees in the police car, he began kicking the vehicle’s components. What is more, he refused to provide his personal details, saying that the officers “had no idea who they were messing with”.

The attacker’s behavior did not change even after he was taken to the Kamienna Góra District Police Headquarters. The man still did not respond to commands; he also refused to undergo a  sobriety test. The result? The cocky troublemaker was taken into police custody. He will now face trial for his actions.
