A difficult-to-explain act of vandalism took place at a cemetery in Warta Bolesławiecka. Someone vandalized the gravestones. A reader reported the incident and also attached several photographs from the cemetery.

The photographs show that several gravestones were damaged. One gravestone slab was broken, while another was bent. It is difficult to comment on such behavior. Who did this, and what motivated them to behave this way—and in such a place?

We remind readers that, under Article 262 of the Criminal Code, desecrating the final resting place of a deceased person is punishable by a fine, restriction of liberty, or imprisonment for up to two years.
