A reader The Bad Bunzlauer described an incident that took place on Thursday, June 2:
(…) I would like to raise a certain issue—namely, people’s indifference toward wild animals. This morning I was driving to work toward Lwówek. A little way past the military shooting range, a fawn that had been hit by a car was lying there; of course, the person who hit it was nowhere to be seen. No car stopped to help the poor animal. I called the emergency number, and the services were supposedly going to help it. I put my reflective fleece jacket over it so that it would be visible, because it was lying on a bend.
He added:
Please raise this issue, because it could just as well have been a person, and I wonder whether people would have behaved the same way then?
We have previously reported, among other things, HERE.
