An unusual police intervention took place in Wrocław at around 12:00. – It was Saturday, and the weather conditions were quite unfavorable. Gusty winds caused many problems for kayakers and other people who decided to go boating in non-motorized vessels – reports asp. szt. Łukasz Dutkowiak from the press team of KWP we Wrocławiu.
He adds:
It turned out that the windy weather also played a role in the case of a young roe deer buck, which the wind blew straight into a hydraulic facility. It was spotted in the basin of Wrocław’s Szczytniki lock when it was already extremely exhausted. It was therefore necessary to act quickly and decisively.
Police officers from the water police station approached the animal in a hybrid boat and, after opening the lock, led the disoriented young buck to a safe place on the bank.
