Despite the whims of the less-than-kind weather, classes have been taking place throughout almost the entire month of April at the forest nursery in Osieczów. The children learn about the work of foresters, how to prepare for a forest adventure and the rules of conduct in the forest; they gain knowledge about nature, trees and forest animal species, and even try to identify their tracks.
The workshops will conclude with a competition for representatives of all second-grade classes selected in internal qualifying rounds. The competition will take place on 29 April at the Municipal Public Library – Knowledge Centre in Bolesławiec.
