The incident took place on Thursday, April 7, before 11:00 a.m., on the premises of one of the companies in Bolesławiec. Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters:
Bolesławiec police officers received a report that an intoxicated driver had been detained at one of the companies. An employee of the company intervened after the driver hit a barrier blocking the entrance.
The 70-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County had his keys taken away, and the police were notified.
It turned out that the man got behind the wheel even though he was completely drunk; a test showed 2.3 per mille of alcohol in his system.
The extremely irresponsible 70-year-old now faces up to two years in prison.
