Bolesławiec criminal investigators identified and detained the perpetrators of the theft of money as a result of operational activities. Both suspects are residents of Bolesławiec, aged 24 and 31.
– Police confirmed that the men had a specific plan when they went to the shop. One distracted the saleswoman, while the other entered the back room and stole cash from the day’s takings – explains Junior Inspector Wojciech Jabłoński of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław. – The suspects confessed to the offence. They spent the money obtained through the crime on their own needs.
Both detainees face up to five years in prison. What is more, it emerged that the older man had previously come into conflict with the law. He was wanted because he has a prison sentence to serve for previous thefts.
