On Monday morning, Bolesławiec traffic police conducted intensified sobriety checks on national road No. 18 as part of the “Sober Morning” campaign. KPP Bolesławiec:
In three cases, the results were positive. Two of those under the influence were truck drivers.
A 56-year-old resident of Legnica County was driving with 0.7 per mille of alcohol in his system. The second person detained by traffic police was a resident of Silesian Voivodeship, who was transporting new cars in a truck with a car transporter. A sobriety test showed that the 48-year-old had 1.2 per mille of alcohol in his system.
In addition, traffic police detained a bus driver who was on his way to work. The 35-year-old from Lubusz Voivodeship was driving after consuming alcohol: he had 0.3 per mille.
