Contrary to some people’s suspicions that the matter would be swept under the rug, that did not happen. The police officer received a fine of as much as PLN 2,500 for the collision. – In connection with the road incident, its course and circumstances were established. The offender was a young officer who was fined PLN 2,500. The person who was involved in the incident suffered no injuries – reports the spokesperson for the Bolesławiec police, asp. szt. Let us recall that the incident took place at the beginning of February, just in front of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec. It was dark outside, and it had rained earlier.
The police officers were turning left, from Parkowa Street into Zygmunta Augusta Street. At that time, one person was crossing at the pedestrian crossing on a green light. The police car struck the person, who fell onto the roadway. The police vehicle was not using its lights or siren.
