On 25 February, due to queues at fuel stations and temporary fuel shortages, PKN Orlen introduced single-refuelling limits. As of today (16 March), these limits have been lifted. Will drivers continue to storm fuel stations and fill up as much as possible? Let us hope that does not happen.

This is not the end of the good news. PKN Orlen President Daniel Obajtek announced another fuel price reduction on social media:

Daniel Obajtek announces another fuel price reduction.

The reduction is due to a further fall in crude oil and the US dollar prices. On Wednesday (16 March), the price of a barrel of crude oil on exchanges fell to 100 dollars (it cost 130 dollars on 8 March). Meanwhile, one dollar costs PLN 4.28 today (it cost PLN 4.57 on 7 March).

PKN Orlen is the largest producer and seller of fuel in Poland (also a wholesale seller, supplying most fuel stations operated by various domestic companies).
