The incident took place on Thursday, 10 March, on Staszica Street in Bolesławiec. Before 8:00 a.m., an 11-year-old boy ran onto a pedestrian crossing from behind a bus that had stopped because of the road conditions and struck the side of a passing passenger car.
The teenager was taken to hospital. Fortunately, it turned out at the scene that he had not suffered anything more serious. After the examinations, he was released to go home.
Police officers are appealing to pedestrians to exercise caution when crossing the street.
