Officers from the Bolesławiec Police unit detained a 47-year-old Ukrainian citizen who, during an argument, stabbed his compatriot in the leg. The incident took place in the Nowogrodziec municipality, where both men are temporarily staying. KPP:
The heated exchange took place in a communal kitchen. At one point, the attacker grabbed a knife found in the room and stabbed his compatriot.
The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Investigators also determined that during the argument, the knifeman threatened the injured man, saying he would kill him.
The court remanded the aggressor in temporary custody for three months. The foreign national faces up to 15 years in prison.
