The incident occurred on Friday after 3:40 p.m. A woman took her dog out onto the grass in Popiełuszki Square on Asnyka Street in Bolesławiec. The recording from the istotne.pl camera shows the woman bending down to clean up after her dog. It was probably then that a phone fell from her pocket, in a case that also contained a payment card. The woman threw the waste into a bin and crossed the street with her dog.
A moment later, four men (or three men and a woman, as can be read in the comments below this article) walked past the place where the woman had been with her dog. One of them, wearing a distinctive two-tone jacket, noticed the lost phone and picked it up. The recording suggests that the men were pleased with the item they had found. They later went to the Orka water park and then to the Żabka store on Asnyka Street. There, they went shopping and paid with the card they had found.
Their faces can be seen in recordings from the cameras at the water park and in the store.
It is unfortunate that the men did not return the phone and card to the woman. However, they can still do so before the police procedure begins. Contact number: 695 885 523.
