The incident took place on Thursday, February 10, in the afternoon, in Milików. The Citroën driver, a 64-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County, failed to adjust his speed to the road conditions, lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a fence at a roadside property.
It quickly became clear that the 64-year-old was completely drunk. He had more than 2 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled air.
The offender was arrested. He now faces up to two years in prison.
