Officers from the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec detained a man suspected of various offences. “In the final weeks of 2021, he committed five fuel thefts. The perpetrator would arrive at petrol stations, fill up his car and drive away without paying,” reports Acting Senior Warrant Officer Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer for the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters.
But that was not all. The 34-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County was also charged with driving while intoxicated and fraud. The spokesperson:
The man listed a mobile phone for sale through an online marketplace. He accepted the payment, but the customer never received what they had bought.
As the 34-year-old is a repeat offender, he could face up to 12 years in prison.
