In 2021, police officers from our county inspected as many as 13,242 vehicles. They applied 6,360 legal measures against drivers and seized 795 registration certificates.
What is more, they detained 247 drivers who were either drunk, under the influence of intoxicants, or in the so-called state after alcohol use (below 0.5 per mille). KPP:
Despite the many actions taken by Bolesławiec police officers, the number of intoxicated drivers remains high, which is why actions aimed at eliminating intoxicated drivers from our roads will continue this year.
What actions did the SPEED team take in 2021?
- Number of violations detected – 1,283,
- number of driving licences seized – 42,
- number of registration certificates seized – 60,
- number of crimes detected – 36.
Moreover, as a result of SPEED operations, 25 road pirates lost their driving licences for three months last year. And considering the work of all uniformed officers from KPP Bolesławiec, a total of 159 drivers lost their driving authorisations, including as many as 52 for exceeding the speed limit in a built-up area by more than 50 km/h.
