In 2021, 21 new officers joined the service at the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec. For 2022, the Chief of Police has set five dates for new police officers to join the service in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship:
- 7 March 2022,
- 14 June 2022,
- 2 August 2022,
- 19 September 2022,
- 29 December 2022.
Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters:
The District Police Commander in Bolesławiec invites people interested to visit the headquarters for detailed information about recruitment, which is conducted continuously, and documents may be submitted at any time.
The qualification procedure begins when the candidate for service in the Police submits the following documents:
- an application to join the Police service;
- the candidate’s personal questionnaire for service in the Police (in force since 5 August 2020);
- documents confirming the education and professional qualifications held (photocopies – originals available for inspection); if the documents were issued in foreign languages, their translations;
- photocopies of employment or service certificates from previous workplaces or places of service (originals available for inspection), if the candidate previously had an employment or service relationship;
- a military booklet containing an entry confirming completion of basic military service or transfer to the reserve.

The tests are held at the Voivodeship Police Headquarters in Wrocław; people interested can prepare for the physical fitness test under the supervision of police instructors.
