Bolesławiec criminal investigators arrested a man suspected of misappropriating property worth PLN 2,700. – After finishing her shopping, a resident of Bolesławiec County forgot to take her phone from the shopping cart – reports asp. szt. Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters. – She realized it in the parking lot and immediately went back for her property, but the phone was no longer there.
It turned out that the device had been appropriated by a 47-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County, who treated it as his own property for several weeks.
The phone was recovered, and the 47-year-old was charged with misappropriating property. He now faces a sentence ranging from three months to as much as five years in prison.
