The incident took place on Tuesday, January 4. Volunteer firefighters from Różyniec:
4:17 p.m. – dispatch to open an apartment in Szczytnica.
They added:
Our actions involved forcing entry into the apartment after we noticed through the window that the person living there was lying on the floor.
It turned out that the 79-year-old woman had fainted in the apartment. The resident was transported to hospital. Firefighters from Bolesławiec, Tomaszów Bolesławiecki and Różyniec, as well as a police patrol and a medical rescue team, took part in the operation.
